Managing Director

Mark Levy, is the founding member of the firm. After graduating from McGill University, in 1991,  with a Bachelor of Economics, he subsequently continued his studies securing a graduate diploma in public accounting in 1997. In 1999, Mark received his CA designation and followed this up with a U.S.  CPA designation in 2000. Ultimately, in 2009, he  completed his formal studies in tax for a Masters in Tax Law.

Mark began his accounting career in 1998 working for the multinational firm Ernst & Young in their retail and manufacturing group. Next, he continued building his accounting and auditing skills with another multinational firm, Deloitte & Touch, focusing on audits and special reporting for financial institutions.

Having his fill of auditing work, Mark joined the tax department of a local Montreal firm that primarily catered to owner-managed businesses before finally moving to KPMG as a manager in the international tax department, with a focus on U.S. cross-border tax.

In 2007, after accumulating sufficient hands-on experience and  a thorough set of high-level skills Mark founded his own firm with the intention of providing smaller owner-managed business the opportunity to benefit from his large firm technical expertise while simultaneously providing a small firm personal attention. Mark’s interest and passion for tax has defined the vision of the firm from day one.

LEVY CPA prides itself on helping clients KEEP MOST OF THEIR MONEY INSTEAD OF GIVING IT AWAY IN UNNECESSARY TAXES.
